What to Have Ready When You Call

Where the unit sits: a closet, the attic or a basement
On oil heat, the reading on the tank gauge
When it started, and anything that changed right before
What Happens After You Call
We confirm the visit within 24 hours, then text a reminder the day before and the day of, along with a photo of the technician who’s coming. On site, they diagnose the fault and give you the price in writing before any work begins. Nothing is replaced until you approve it.
If you smell gas, leave the house without flipping switches or using a phone inside, and call PECO or 911 from outside. If a CO alarm goes off, get everyone out, call 911 from outside, and don’t run the furnace until it’s inspected – then call us.
